Shuttle Mini PC with Atom D510 and Nvidia graphics
The planned successor to the "Ion" from Nvidia is already since a few weeks of wild speculation. Since the new Intel Atom processor and matching chipset has redesigned and Nvidia for virtually no license rights holder, shall be the successor of Ion to change.
At CES, confirm the facts that the successor of ion rather than a discrete graphics chipset solution. According Shuttle announces a first model with a new dual-core Atom D510 and its associated NM10-chipset, which can be optionally equipped with a discrete graphics solution from Nvidia.

To tie the problem to the constellation, a discrete graphics solution to the NM10 chipset via PCI-Express, however, is that this only four PCI Express lanes available to provide the bandwidth and is therefore significantly restricted. For a smaller discrete solution but this is still likely to prove totally inadequate. Shuttle would / could this be any more precise information, as it is shown in the model, "XS35" still at an early prototype and the facilities in this relationship might change. In the second quarter of this little PC will come with a volume of only 1.15 liters in the market - just in this period is also expected with the new Ion from Nvidia.

Shuttle provides insights into the latest notebook
Shuttle has built up at the Consumer Electronics Show two walls, is shown in which the inner life of current notebooks. This starts with the smallest solution with Atom processor and goes up to the "Calpella" platform, visit the fastest quad-core processors from the Core i7 series square.
In addition to the new "Pine Trail" solutions for notebooks (M) and desktops (D) with the Atom processor is also a circuit board from the AMD-Congo-series with the party. Shuttle splits on the two exhibitions, one in the range up to 13.3 inches and the other on the field. This point is important because there are usually 13.3 inches above two solutions, one with built-in and a second with discrete graphics.
